CUSAT CAT is the acronym of Cochin University of Science and Technology Common Admission Test. It is conducted for admission to various programmes viz. Engineering, Environmental Studies, Humanities, Law, Marine Sciences, Medical Sciences & Technology, Science, Social Sciences and Technology. The University also conducts Lateral Entry Test (LET) and Department Admission Test (DAT).

The application process is ongoing and candidates must apply for the exam as soon as possible. It incorporates the stages like registration, filling the application form, fee payment, uploading the required documents and final submission. Only eligible candidates can apply for CUSAT 2022. BTech in Marine Engineering

• Secured 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in the Class 12 or equivalent from Kerala Board or any other recognized Board.
• Studied in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English in the qualifying examination.
• Secured minimum 50% in the English subject either in Class 10 or in Class 12 (applicable to all the categories).
• Candidates have to submit physical fitness and eye fitness certificate as well. The certificate should be obtained from Medical Examiners and approved by DG Shipping.

BTech in Naval Architecture & Ship Building

• Scored 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in the Class 12 examination or equivalent from Kerala Board or any other recognized Board.
• Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics should be the compulsory subjects along with the other subjects in the qualifying examination.
• Obtain 50% in the Mathematics subject.
• Must have scored 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics when taken together.

BTech in Instrumentation & Technology

• Obtained 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics when taken together in the qualifying examination.
• Obtain 55% in the Mathematics subject.

BTech in Polymer Science & Engineering

• Passed Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as an optional subject or any other equivalent examination with 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognized Board.
• Secured 50% in the Mathematics subject.

CUSAT CAT Age Limit

There is no stipulated age limit to apply for the exam. Candidates of any age group can fill the application form and subsequently participate in the counselling in they qualify the entrance.

The application form along with the official notification was released on February 08. Interested and eligible candidates can fill CUSAT CAT application form 2022 until the last date i.e. March 07. After filling the application form, candidates can pay the application fee from February 08 to March 25. However, the application window will remain open from March 07 to March 31 with a late fee. 

The admit card will be issued to the eligible candidates from May 01 to 14 to wirte the exam. Candidates will be able to download their admit card by using their login credentials. The exam authority will not share the admit card through email, post, etc.

CUSAT CAT 2022 UG exam will be held from June 22 to 24. Candidates who will submit the application form successfully will get the chance to contest in CUSAT CAT 2022 on the scheduled  date.

CUSAT CAT result will be declared a few days post conclusion of the exam. Candidates who will appear in the exam will be able to check their result online. The result will encompass marks, rank, etc. of the candidate.
